Earlier today, we experienced a brief period of increased prescription transmission errors. The issue has since been resolved, and normal operations have been fully restored.

Issue: A percentage of prescriptions resulted in transmission errors due to timeouts occurring as they were sent to the Surescripts routing network Start Time: 2/3/2026 9:10 am ET Resolution Time: 2/3/2026 10:00 am ET
What Happened: - Our monitoring alerted the team to an increase in transmission errors, and investigation began immediately. - The team identified that the failures were caused by timeouts when communicating with the Surescripts routing network. - Error messaging was updated to provide clearer, more user-friendly guidance. - All failed prescriptions were re-queued for processing once connectivity stabilized on the Surescripts network.
Current Status: Connectivity has been fully restored. All re-queued prescriptions were successfully transmitted and confirmed by the receiving pharmacies. No ongoing issues are observed at this time. If a similar error is encountered in the future, providers are advised to re-queue affected prescriptions..
